Concerts

The Northern Baroque Orchestra holds two concerts each year in the Rochdale area. Rehearsals are held in the weeks preceding each concert, mostly on Wednesday evenings at the concert venue.

Our next concert will be with a local female voice choir, Cantare, on Saturday 18th November 2023 from 3:00pm at St Aidan's Church in Sudden, Rochdale (OL11 3EL).

NBO will perform the following works in the first half:

Handel's Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 8 in C minor
Holst's St. Paul's Suite

and join Cantare in the second half to perform Vivaldi's Gloria in D major.

The conductor for this concert will be Alasdair Gordon.

Tickets are available in advance via Eventbrite and will be available at the door for £12 (£10 for concessions, £5 for children under 18).
