Our next concert will celebrate 40 years of NBO and be on Saturday 21st June 2025 from 7:30pm at St George's Church in Oakenrod Hill, Rochdale (OL11 4EB).

NBO will perform the following works:

• Handel's 'Arrival of the Queen of Sheba', Sinfonia from Act III of Solomon, HWV 67

• Vivaldi's Violin Concerto in G minor, RV 315 ('Summer' from 'The Four Seasons')

• J S Bach's Double Concerto for Oboe and Violin in C minor, BWV 1060R

• Handel's Concerto Grosso Op. 3 No. 4 in F major

• John Stanley's Concerto Grosso Op. 2 No. 3 in G major

• Bartók's Sonatina, Sz. 55 (arr. M A Seaton)

The violin soloist for the Vivaldi and Bach will be our leader, Andrew Rostron, and the oboe soloist for the Bach will be Diane Docherty. The conductor for this concert will be Paul Witkiewicz.

Tickets will be available at the door for £15 (£12 for concessions, £5 for students and £1 for children under 18).
